A couple more photos of the center section of the bumper kit, as well as the Rigid SR 10" LED light bar. Used, but in working order. It shines amber brightly....
    $700 plus shipping costs
Won't find a better deal out there
I also have Warn far leads/hawse I can sell to sweeten the pot.
Let me know if you have any questions!!

Just laying out the average price I was told by a couple fab shops in my area. They were presented all the pieces of the kit, as well as directions. I imagine prices for welding will vary.
How many hours did you have into the bumper? Any pics of your completed bumper you can add to the thread?

well between removal of the old one, u mount up the center piece, then tack all the pieces which may or may not fit perfectly lol i ended up tigging most of it, as the spool gun was a bit brutish on some of the wing pieces. and fitting up the hoops to be right took an hour by itself. prob a 4-5 hr job, but i know my shop charges $95 /hr, so that why i said the quote seemed skinny:welder:

    Great info for prospective buyers!!!
Thank you for taking the time to post up your experiences. I very much appreciate it. I can see where the extra time/labor can come into play. No doubt prices for fab work will vary....
Now who needs a sexy, lightweight bumper at a great price, with some extras thrown in??

Hey Rut, how does the bumper feel strength wise? I'm sure it's not quite as tough as the steel version but is it still a burly piece? Any fear of bending the wings or would it take a significant impact?

    Any warpage issues during welding?

    Just a few
Honestly his Aluminum bumper feels beefier than my steel bumper. His hoops are actually a larger diameter than my steel hoops.

the main structure is very strong, the wings are a good design, but at the end of the day they are aluminum. i havent tested their strength, but i have pushed some trees over with it. no hard impacts tho. yea it tried to crawl while i was welding, but i did 2" beads everywhere inside and out, before i sewed up the outside. everything on the driver side fit together perfect , the passenger side needed some work to fit up right.

    Thanks Josh!

Hey Rut, you mind if I pm you with a few questions about the building process? It'll probably be a few months before I weld this thing up, but I have some questions while it's a fresh topic.

    Thanks!
