I'd be willing to bet relentless will be helpful in this situation, but 100% not their fault. We assume risk when getting things shipped unfortunately. Just making sure what you meant.

I’m not saying it’s anyones fault. Obviously it comes a long way to where I am. Just posting my experiences so far though as I ponder what to do. Maybe hammer it straight again somehow without fucking up the PC?

Clearly UPS mishandled that package, did you retain the packaging it arrived in? Who signed for it? Were there signs of damage to the box? Really shouldn't have been signed for at delivery if it was obvious there was damage. Signing for the package mostly releases their liability from a claim since you accept the shipment as delivered.
We'd need to file a claim with UPS to be reimbursed but the packaging must be retained. They usually require us to send a lot of photos with the claim, or they send someone to inspect the packaging to ensure the shipment was properly packaged by the shipper(AKA us. It was packaged to spec). We'd also need to submit the claim ASAP or they'll likely deny it.

 

Was it supposed to be signature required? As mine wasn't and had damage to the box and PC

 

@RelentlessFab I'm fine with mine as it will be hidden. But how was I supposed to report it or claim anything when no signature was required?

 

It should have been required with all of them due to the value of the shipment. I know all the ones we shipped a week ago had signature required when I made the labels. UPS will sometimes ignore that and leave packages with some scribble fake signature though. Happens every so often on packages we receive at our shop, they leave them even though they're high value and signature required.

If anyone receives damage to their shipment:

Contact UPS and get the claim process started ASAP
Email us to notify us so we can handle the claim on our end. We'll need a lot of photos, both the packaging and the product. DO NOT THROW AWAY PACKAGING

All this info is listed on the packing slip/terms page in each package we ship.

Damn, really sorry to see that happened to you. Mine came in perfect, and was packed very well. UPS sucks sometimes. Start a claim and do everything you can to get reimbursed. I hate to see this happen to anyone.

Looks like I have dropped about 1/2".

 

Top and bottom we’re fine. Seems like they cut the tape to inspect it and then got all loose.

 

What's your set up again? And is that with winch as well?

 

Whats the best thing to touch these spots up with that wont stand out?

 

Bilstein 6112's up front set at the third notch. Same winch as you bought.

 

And 600 lb. springs. Might go up to 650.
