We get some from time to time that haven't necessarily posted on the forum as well. We'll have to see what we have right now

 

Finally got a nice day and some free time to get my stingray installed. Pretty straight forward install and everything fit like a glove. Have some slight alignment issues but I’ll adjust that later.

Interested in the group buy!

Can anybody comment about whether you need to adjust/change the front springs due to weight once the winch bumper and winch are installed?

I’m currently running OME medium duty front springs that give about 2 - 2.5 inches of lift.

I don’t want the front to droop after the install, so just trying to figure out what to expect/what I need to do.

 

With a setup like that and adding the bumper and winch you'd probably see about a 3/8" drop. Nothing crazy. A small(probably 1/4") top plate spacer added to the OME struts would be plenty enough to compensate and maintain your current height.

 

Does the bumper come with a skid (I’m assuming it doesn’t)?

If not, does the factory skid bolt up to the R. Fab bumper?

 

Factory skid plate works fine with this bumper. So does Mobtown.

 

That’s about what I experienced with mine. I was level and now have a very slight but visible rake. I’m eventually going to upgrade the suspension and go with a 650 lb coil. Right now the loss in height isn’t enough for me to consider a spacer.

 

What's the lead time?

 

It depends on when we have enough people to get a batch going. Right now, for most of our products lead time is around 6-8 weeks for a bare bumper.

Come on peeps get in on the Group Buy. I love mine, and the craftsmanship is amazing.

 

I really want to jump on this but I’m waiting to see what our Governor does about opening up the state. I’m still working but it could go either way pending what he does.

 

I could be very intrested in a group buy. @RelentlessFabrication could you dm me to let me know pricing and also how we could set up another gorup buy seems like we got quite a few intrested.

 

I too would be very interested, based on pricing, and if local pickup might be an option. I plan to be traveling to and from lake tahoe at least a few times this summer
