Too late now, and not that it's a deal breaker, but does the bumper come with the little mesh section above it for the open space?

Yes, the laser-cut diamond pattern panel is integrated in as part of the bumper

apologiesfor asking again, i posed a few days ago but didnt see any reply, for winches, are there any other reccomendations? i'm not opposed to warn, but have heard decent things about the badlands winches that Harbor Freight has started to carry, and that price point fits my (low) frequency of use a bit better... anyone have opinions/ use a non warn winch with this bumper?

i scrolled back a few pages, saw these ones mentioned:
    warn m8000s (stickytaco, helpme)
    warn VR (relentless reccomended)
Smittybilt XRC and X2O (relentless 2nd tier, unchained 5150)
    Warn 9.5 XPS - (000doodie000)

i'm sure there are more people that have these/ different winch combos...

Most 10k and under mid-frame winches will fit in these bumpers.
The possible complications arise when you get into the control pack mounting of the particular winch chosen, you want one thats relocatable. Most winches nowadays have relocatable control packs, some older ones had them integrated permanently into the winch housing above the drum. The control pack relocation is recommended for ease of access to plug in a remote, and also for a bit of protection from being dunked in water through stream crossings and relocation may be necessary on some winches to eliminate the need to cut out supports for the grille behind the bumper.

As for orders in this batch, looks like 9 total invoices sent so far, of which 6 are paid.
Be sure to get your orders submitted/paid up by this weekend. Keep in mind if you are signed up but haven't send in your info to be invoiced we're only open and replying to your emails on weekdays so have your info and questions sent in by Friday afternoon.
    Thanks all!

I sent pm's to the few that haven't posted in here in awhile. They may have no idea what is going on if they aren't receiving notifications.

At this point with orders paid/submitted we'll just move forward with production no matter, but ideally 10 minimum is what I'd like to see.

Another thing to note for those new to winches.
If you look at winch specs for a line of winches with different capacities (ex. the Warn Evo 8/10/12 or Smitty 9.5/12) often times they all use the same cases and same motors(same HP). The added pulling power is from gear reduction, which comes at the price of slower line speeds. Line speeds at no load and under various loads is one spec most overlook when purchasing a winch but is something to consider. Some winches have no-load speeds of say 45ft/min, others may be as slow as 15-20ft/min which makes respooling more of a chore, and depending on loaded line speeds makes getting un-stuck slower or more difficult.
One more spec to look at is amp draw at various loads/max load. A more efficient winch is less toll on your vehicles electrical system.
