Relentless Fabrication 2nd gen Stingray Bumper Group Buy Thread

I mentioned a few things regarding winch choice and recommendation on the previous page. Most 'Mid-frame' size winches will fit in the bumper, I do recommend pairing with a 10k winch.
A 12K winch is fairly unnecessary for a Tacoma unless it's extremely loaded down with gear and usually just means the winch performs slower due to gear reduction.

 

Nothing new just excited. I know we aren't close to delivery yet.

 

At this point I'm still waiting on the parts PO from the laser cutter, think they'll have them cut next week though. Then on through the process here in the shop of getting them in scheduled for forming, assembling, welding, etc.

 

Thanks for the update! Sounds like things are moving pretty fast. I have a big trip in July & August. Hopefully I'll be home to accept this gift from the tacoma gods!!

Why didn’t I look at this thread 2 months ago I contacted the folks over at relentless but haven’t got a response, how often do these group buys happen for this specific bumper?

 

@BenGIEF last one was in 2018 according to the first post

 

About 1-2 times a year, depending on interest levels

That was the original, maybe we should update the thread to "ongoing GB"

 

10-15 ppl is need for a batch to materialize in a group buy. This was a good run & I expect it will happen in the future again. Just watch the thread & get in on the next one

You can start you own list! Email Relentless and tell them you want to be put on the next group buy. Then get the word out by posting it to other social media outlets.
I started a new thread in the B/S/T forums about the group buy, which helped accelerate the process. Relentless forums don't get near the traffic as other forums do on this site. So unless someone is browsing relentless's forums and stumbles on to it, they probably won't ever know. It was by dumb luck that I found it! lol
Keep a running list updated with everyone names and keep the thread alive, that will help with traffic and hype the product.
As mentioned, changing the First post and title to, "on going group buy" or making a new thread should help avoid confusion.

 

I had some things come up within the past month and wanted to reconsider this purchase and currently on the group buy with invoice paid for a powder-coated bumper with shipping to California. I think there are few people on this thread that might want to take my spot with the most recent being @BenGIEF. Is this something that can be done @RelentlessFab ?

 

Wow when it rains it really pours, I’ve been working with @Old Marine Cal and have just accepted to take his spot unless Mike has a change of heart. @Old Marine Cal did you want to keep the original order because it seems as though @trakmasterrs is willing to give up his spot as well. I will be down to take either spot and will pay the invoice of whoever’s spot is emailed to me. Thanks a bunch guys, and let me know what you think Mike!

Btw, here's what took priority over my Taco upgrades (for now).

 

With the couple order swaps out of the way, just be aware we won't be taking further swaps for bumpers. If anyone signed up and paid has changed their mind or otherwise does not want theirs please just work out a way to sell locally once received. Thanks everyone
