    I’m interested in these but wonder why they only fit 2nd gen. Same bed width as 3rd gen. Is it the mounting slots that are different?

    Holes are drilled exact not slotted like new ones. You can drill new holes for the 3rd gen but will have to drill 6 holes.

    You can see the bolts in the holes. If you go to their website look at their bed bars you will see they are slotted.

    Put them on my new 3rd gen to see if they would fit. They will only if you drill new holes or slot the original.

    I noticed that the side bed rails are an inch lower on my 3rd gen than in the 2nd gen. Still, at a hundred bucks, I may pick these up and drill new holes or just slot the original ones.
