Relentless Fabrication Diamond Plate TGR

Hey guys!

I just got an email reply from relentless fab and they really do make some high quality stuff. I've been eyeing up the tailgate guard but I like the diamond plate version. I was told I need 4 people to pool together to make this group buy happen to be able to get this product. Who's in? It really looks good for those that haven't checked it out! Diamond plating is always badass especially with black powder coat. Let me know!

 

Assuming they would just be the standard price? Might be able to get a discount on shipping or on the price since it's a group buy depending on how generous Eric is feeling so it would be 150$ plus shipping as of right now? Unless he chimes in and fills me in on more but I need at least 3 people to join me.

 

The point of the group buy is that they don't offer the diamond plate unless it's a group buy...........

I doubt it, the idea is to get 4 people that want diamond plating to make the cost of getting the materials worth it. Or at least that is my understanding. They really should just bring it back, they had it to order before but took it down due to lack of interest? Yet I'm being told they sell quickly when they do have it...go figure lol. Actually it comes down to demand.... We would sell probably 20:1 smooth vs diamond plate, therefore I cut a sheet of them (4) and they'd sit on my shelf sometimes 2,3- even 4 months at times before they all sell whereas I can't even hardly keep up on making the smooth ones in between our other products. So when I have nearly all my other products at a higher demand, it's easier to do a batch of these with the combined interest/sales to make it worth cutting them and knowing they wont be collecting dust and potentially getting dinged up sitting around the shop for months.

 

Also, as for pricing..... Get 4 orders and we can do the 10% forum discount and sell at the smooth aluminum price- typically the diamond plate ones go for a little more as the material is a bit more than the smooth material.

 

You are the man, just waiting to see who else is interested.

I might just have to give up waiting on a diamond plate one, and instead get a plain steel one. Today I had to load an Allison Transmission (out of a chevy) and the 300+ lbs on my new stock tailgate had me sweating bullets. Hopefully a couple more people will commit soon before it is too late.
