I can't leave anything well enough alone
    SOLD
Relentless Fab skid plate set for sale, fits all 2nd gen Tacomas. I know 3rd gen trucks have oil filter access issues with 2nd gen skids, but these will bolt up to a 3rd gen also

Relentless Fabrication does not make these any longer to my knowledge. The front/IFS/Engine skid is 1/4" steel, measures 0.250", and as you can see it has gotten scraped up some. No major hits and NO BENDS!! Still perfectly straight and bolts up perfect. The Mid skid is also steel, but a little thinner at 0.195" (not sure if that is a gauge size or what, but it isn't .250" or .1875"). It has not been scraped since repaint. Comes with the 3 bolts that secure the two together. All other hardware should come from your truck.

Both of these skids were used by me since new. They are powder coated, but I top coated with Rustoleum flat oil based paint with a roller last time they were off. The added paint looks really nice, it is strong paint, but nothing will hold up to a truck scraping it across the rocks. The mid skid I never bolted up after paint since I acquired a trans/transfer case all in one skid that I still use with my new front arrangement. I can confirm these work with a diff drop spacer if you have that, and I can also confirm that the hole in the bottom of the engine skid does in fact line up with the drain plug. I had a valve there to drain, worked awesome and was still protected.

Bottom of front skid you can touch up if you want, or run as is. I may have a small amount of paint left that I will throw in if I can find it, but it is likely dried up and hardened. The skids will get scraped up again if you use the truck. There is some Moab dirt on them still, no charge for that...

I am a motivated seller. Shoot me your offer, if you think it is reasonable. At this point, I don't think I want to ship, or deal with all that. These are heavy. If you want to do all the legwork and send me a prepaid shipping label, I will weigh them for you and drop of at the shipper. But I don't want to do shipping quotes at this time. I wouldn't mind meeting up for a TacomaWorld Express though. I am in the Phoenix, AZ area.

$OLD. Paid way more than that and even that was back before tariffs and steel price increases and the company not making them anymore.

    Get them while you can.

Some pics of when I painted.

And some as of right now. Dirty from last trip to sand dunes, then they sat outside and got dusty and some rains pots. There is no deep rust at all. Will cleanup perfectly.

How much if you part them. I have a different belly skid plate, and you have the transfer skid. How much for the smaller skid??
I think I have the Rago plate.. They should fit/match up, right??

What I have is the first and second skid of what can become a 3 piece set. I will not confirm or deny fitment for any other skid manufacturers. That is on you. I'm happy to take measurements if you need. I'm also not going to split the set unless I have two confirmed buyers. And furthermore, as I mention in the ad, I'm not willing to go through shipping quotes for these, at least not right now. I have ads up on craigslist, and the AZ classifieds section, looking to do a local sale or tacoma world express at this time.

I'll IM you if someone says they want to buy the front skid only. But we would still need to figure out pickup.

Make me an offer, thought there were more folks who need/use good skid plate systems.

Anyone know what is the best / preferred way to ship skid plates? Can I print a label as if it were a box for UPS, slap the label on it and drop off at the UPS store counter?

^I would assume you'd at least need to box them up even if that means just covering with cardboard/tape. I don't think they'll take big piece of steel like that without any packaging/padding.

I'm gonna shoot you a PM as I may be willing to drive out to pickup a few of the items you've got for sale. Thanks!

    Will you ship them?

I have received skid plates packed with simple cardboard wrap and a metric ton of packing tape.

I think I 'can' ship them, cardboard wrap or not, but I don't really 'want' to ship them. It is a lot more work on my side and they are priced really well as it is. I need more time, not more money truthfully....

I'm not ruling it out, but strongly prefer a bundle purchase of things picked up, that saves me a lot of time.
