I was looking for Reloader 26 about a year and a half ago to try out in my 6.5 PRC and all I could find was a 8 pound jug. Glad I ended up spending the extra money on it because now you can’t get it at all and it shoots lights out in my gun:thumbsup:

Limit one box though. If they did a two box limit like Brownell's I'd order some but tacking on the hazmat charge to every individual box drives the cost up pretty quick. It's cool they are trying to prevent hoarders from ordering the whole shipment every time though.

They also have a decent selection of powder in 4lb and 8lb jugs right now. Important since they limit powder to a single jug of each type, whether that's 1lb or 8lb.

Yeah, like mentioned above they are limited to 1 brick. There is another site I found from ammoseek that has them at the same price and allows for 2k at a time. Either way, once you add in hazmat fees, shipping, etc it's another $50 on top of that. And since Midway charges tax it would be more like $160 for the single brick.

I didn’t realize they had a 1K limit. It’s been so long since I bought primers I haven’t paid attention to that kind of thing.

Looks like it was 1k per UPC, just noticed they also go some CCI #450 in stock at $82.99 so I was able to order 1k of the #450 and 1k of the #41 for $230 total. Still an insane price compared to a couple years ago but at least I have some on the way and don't have to worry about running out in the near future.

Wow. I keep thinking after I run out of my supplies I’ll be done with reloading. It’s going to be pretty hard to pay those prices. I’m really hopeful that the prices will drop back down to a reasonable price

Even at these prices it’s still 1/4-1/2 the cost of factory ammo.

Midway has large rifle benchrest primers BR2’s in stock right now. First time I’ve seen them in over a year.

Brownells has CCI 41, two box limit. With shipping/hazmat comes out to $125/brick which is more than I want to pay right now. Wouldn’t be a bad deal if you need one of the few powders that they also have in stock.

Yeah nothings cheap. The BR2 primers at Midway are $133 per brick. After tax hazmat and shipping it was 175 per brick. I think I’ll wait for a while.

Yikes!!! Seems like the prices are still climbing. Those scalpers are ruining it for the rest of us. I bet most of them don’t even reload.
I hope it turns out like the .22LR ammo shortage. A lot of the scalpers got stuck with a bunch of .22LR when the price dropped back down.

For a while Federal gold medal 215M primers were going for $500-$550 per 1K on gun broker. Everything is still too expensive but at least it’s not like that anymore.

After a 3 year hiatus, I finally decided to clean off my reloading bench and get busy. I haven't loaded any caliber cartridge in almost 2 years. I removed everything from the bench, swept up all the old powder flakes and dust. Wiped down the bench top, and cleaned off all of my equipment. I did this last night at 1:00 am, and finished around 2:30.
So far I've got 150 rnds of 9mm ready for the range on Monday, and I'm working on 100-150 rnds of 45 Acp between now and then. I'd almost forgotten how much I enjoy doing this, but my arthritic hands didn't take long to remind me why I had stopped in the first place. Well they're just going to have to hurt for a couple of days, until I get this last batch finished up.

Awesome! I hate cleaning brass too. Sometimes I think I enjoy reloading more than shooting. I love them both.

Has anyone shot any of the Freedom Munitions X-Def ammo. The bullet really looks like a Speer Gold Dot Clone. I also found on Xtreme bullets website almost word for word description of the X-treme Def bullets in several calibers. I ordered 100 of 9mm and 380 acp. My brother in Texas purchased a box of the 45 230 gr Freedom Munitions X-Def and did the milk jug test. Looks just like a mushroomed Gold Dot. Here's a link, tell me what you think

My Freedom Munitions X-Def bullets arrived yesterday. Can't wait to milk jug test them to see how much they resemble an expanded Gold Dot. There are quite a few similarities between the two. I've also purchased quite a few Berry's hybrid hollow points to test out. Now all I need is a good supply of small pistol primers. If I'd have know things were going to get this bad, I'd have purchased 10k small primers when they were cheap.
