Hey guys it's time again for me to move... I'm currently in Corona, my wife works in Irvine and we're looking to move to the OC area and I'll be looking for a job down there too. We went apartment hunting today in Anaheim, Santa Ana, and up towards Fullerton and found nothing but disappointment. It's so ridiculously expensive and all we need is a 1 bedroom place that allows small dogs. Any advice or areas to avoid? I know there's a lot of people on TW in that area so any advice would be appreciated!

Agreed. Orange County prices are through the roof. My coworker lived at Madison Park Apartment Homes (listed in the post above mine). He had no complaints.

Not sure what your price range is, but I know several people who have stayed at Gateway Apartments in Orange. It's within walking distance of Angel Stadium and a stone's throw from the 5 freeway. According to their website, they allow dogs up to 21 inches.

    Good luck!

Hey guys thanks for the replies... I'll have to take a look at some of these places. I actually went to Five Coves but there wasn't anyone in the leasing office at the time I got there so I just moved on. That's about my price range trying to keep it below $1300 after any parking or pet fees.

Bumping it up... Thinking about looking at some places in Costa Mesa as well.
