Good point - thanks for pointing that out! I will let you know how it goes. I already have +12v, ground, and illumination up there from my Bussmann switch install. I am just waiting for my overhead MESO switch panel to arrive and things should go smoothly.

@Skip2friday did you do the install? Was it a success? I’m looking to relocate my traction control to down where my ECT button is. Is it as easy as just cutting the wires, adding length, crimp it all together and it works the same? Definitely going to disconnect the battery! These are some pics I took earlier

So you may return it to it's original position if needed...

Those aren’t a plug and play are they? The connectors look different from the factory plugs. I’m new to this so I’m needing guidance.

It’s either I relocate the traction control button, auto high beams or the rear power outlet switch. Which ever is easiest to move to the middle of the dash

Nope...but you mentioned you'd cut and crimp.

Ohhhh I see what you meant! I was hoping what you posted was an extension but it’s just another connector to connect it all together. It’s either I do that route or I do this

Where can I get those connector? I will still need the male and female pins right? Ive been trying to move my traction control switch for a while without cutting. My ECT switch was moved to my shift knob, so now it’s useless.

I’m interested. I would rather relocate the auto high beam button then have to cut anything to make it longer

If you look closely, the picture has a URL over each connector. But you'll still need to snip the wires and crimp terminals. The idea is to be able to return the switch to its original position any time later.

Ok thats fine. That’s basically my idea. Im good with electrical. I basically just need the female connector. Someone already posted the male from Toyota on the previous comments.

If you give us an estimated length you need we would be happy to offer this relocation cable.

I can get measurements tomorrow. Just to clarify, this cable would interface with the oem male and female connectors of the factory harness and the traction control switch correct?

I am definitely in if you could make this extension cable be a direct plug and play! It would be amazing!!! Would it be for the auto high beam button or the traction control button? I think it’s safe to say 3-4 feet would be long enough for myself. Better to have to much cable then not enough.

66" would suffice from the left of steering wheel switch panel to the overhead switch panel of the 3rd gen.

Got it added 2 different lengths on our site depending if you want to move it to the overhead or to the center. Note it will only work on the traction switch to the left of the wheel not the auto high beam or the traction switch already in the overhead.
