    Remember going into the small town, local hardware store. Old hardwood floors and the smell of the wood. Fishing lures and live bait.
    Case and Barlow knives in the rotating display on the counter and new deer rifles and shotguns that you could pick up and handle with no chains on them or behind the counter.

    The creek of the wood floor, smell of oil, nails in a keg. The owner would scoop out the nails, put on a scale, get to the weight you asked for and throw in a few extra.

    I had an uncle in Northville, N.Y. that owned a store JUST LIKE that! Whenever I go to a feed store or the like with "That Smell" I IMMEDIATELY flash back to it! He also had a 52-53 Chevy Pickup in red, and I've wanted one ever since!!

    The wd-40 smell would always remind me of my grandfather. Even still today.
