Do you remember when, this is a big one, you could drive your truck to school with your rifle hanging in it during hunting season, at least, and nobody ever said a word

I remember when the first time my dad drove a car with power brakes, we all almost went through the windshield, never wore seat belts back then

    Ok
    Soda machine with glass bottles.
Put your 10 cents in it and slide the soda you wanted along a rail and pulled it up through a trap door on the end.
Use to have a friend that liked a certain soda so we would slide all the soda around like a rubics cube and then watch him go after it for 20 min..

Something that is better now (imo). My dad once bought a console tv for like $250 new. He made payments of $17 a month or something. Now I have one 3 times the size for a couple hundred more.

Remember when as a kid you could leave the house after breakfast and not come till dinner and nobody would be worried about you
My dad had a machine like that in his gas station, the soda was local made Springtime soda.

And you put it in the wooden case next to the machine and no one touched them

Did you ever take a bottle opener and open them in the machine and try to drink them? Me neither.

Brake line worked great for that.
Have an old clean bottle and siphon the soda into a bottle cause I didn’t have any money.
Then went back on sat. and paid the guy for the soda cause I got my allowance.

Oh there will be some mods all right
There was a soda machine by a hardware store that after you put your money in, if you hit the button really fast you'd get like 4 or 5 sodas. Only did it once because I felt bad :D

The one at the corner got worn enough so if you held the rocker door just right you could slide all the soda out. I did that once and put them all in the crates next to the machine. A new machine showed up the next week

They don’t want you to walk into a store with camo on anymore cause it offends someone and when you get a deer etc they want you to bag it and hide it during transport. Up here it needs to be in view. I’d still strap a deer across the hood and drive around....
