    We had a milkman, a bread man, an Amish farmer who delivered eggs and chicken, the Charles Chips truck that delivered potato chips in a gallon can, and the butcher delivered steaks and ground meat to the door. We watched Combat! On TV and played with GI Joes and had toy guns of every type. Every few weeks or so they would shoot a rocket into space, tickets to the Phillies games were $1.50 in the bleachers (they usually sucked), there was something going on in a place called Vietnam, our station wagon didn’t have seat belts, AC, or FM radio, summers were spent at the Jersey Shore....life was good.
