    Ever use a “microfiche”?

    I remember using one for a school project and the librarian helping me find arcane newspaper articles.

    I remember that she loved a good cat fight. Back in 1987 or '88 we were at Red Rock swimming hole north of Santa Barbara and she got into a scrape with some girl right at the swimming hole. Ya' had to hike in maybe a mile or so from the cars. So, Joyce and this other girl did some screaming at each other but didn't get physical, thankfully. We split and all the way back to the parking lot Joyce was ranting and raving about "getting that bitch." When we got back to the truck she took my knife over to a convertible (MG I think...) and sliced that shit up! I have no idea why she thought the convert belonged to the other girl. I'm pretty sure it didn't.
    So we got the hell out of there!
    She was a passionate girl, but very, very emotional. She got around and we didn't last long because of it. Soon after I shacked up with her sister Janet. She was mellow.
