    I have both... I bought the Electric Ladyland album in 1968 when it first came out (have the CD now). I bought the ElectricLarryLand CD when it first came out... the reason being "Pepper". :)
    My CD has the "alternate" artwork, looks like this..

    I was 14 in summer of 1967 when "Are You Experienced" was released. We had a pool table at my house and (also a nice big stereo) and many of the neighborhood kids hung out. We would shoot pool for quarters, and listen to loud music. One day Kenny brought his brand new Are You Experienced album and, well, life changed . . .

    I was born in late 73. Found my dad's Alice Cooper and Hendrix records around age 3..and my cousin came to live with us when I was 7-8 who turned me on to AC/DC, Aerosmith, Sabbath, Ozzy, and punk rock. Always told me he'd kill me if I ever told my parents he let me listen to his stereo with him.

    I bought the "Love it to Death" album when it first came out. I saw Alice Cooper, the Doobie Brothers, and about five other bands (all little known at the time) at the Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans.. in late 1971 I think. Ticket price: $2.50
