    May 1961 listening to Alan Shepards launch into space, first American to do so (2nd after the Soviet union). My radio was a brand new 2 transistor boys radio lol. Would love to find a pic of it, it was tan and had “2 Transistor” labeled on it. I was 7 at the time.

    It was Mom who suggested the idea.

    This was in the days at least where I lived still about 75% were still stay at home Moms.

    i have found being on any list tends to get me in trouble.

    It was nice having my picture in all the post offices .

    I had a typing class in middle school on maul type writers. Our computer science class consisted of playing Oregon Trail on Macs. Never touched a computer again in High School.

    I had the tube socks w/ stripes for sure. And shorts were shorter back then..... but I never did the belly shirt...

    Mine are still all loose and if it gets dropped it rolls under a vehicle with the lowest ground clearance .

    New Gas caps in all my vehicles for when it happens
