LOL My parents didn’t let us watch that much TV. And we watched very few shows made for adults.

 

That was about the time we moved to the Canadian border and lost our access to American TV, so I only saw about two episodes of that.

Yep, had one of these too. Very cool looking! But the spare BBs in the mag made all kinds of noise. And it sure didn't have any power. ....So fun though!!

 

Yep, I remember watching all of them. And not in reruns either.

Remember when "The Avengers" were a couple of British secret agents instead of Marvel superheroes? I enjoyed watching that too.





Especially Emma Peel.

 

Oh yeah... and "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." and "I Spy" and the original "Mission Impossible" . . .

Mission Impossible seemed like it always ended with the group of them piling into a car and driving off... while everyone else was left to try to figure out "what just happened?"

Just watched the Dukes of Hazzard series on DVD..just two good ol' boys

 

Okay you guys don’t freak on me but I built one of those canes. Years ago I hurt my knee and I needed a cane to walk and I walked all over the local drugstore looking for a cane and they didn’t have one.

I stopped at Lowe’s on the way home and bought a new clear ash rake handle, a little brass door knob, a bit of chrome plumbing hardware, a lag screw, plus a rubber stopper.

And I built this. It’s not ebony, but black lacquered ash still looks pretty good.



Anyhow I only needed this for a few weeks but I wanted something that was useful in a pinch, so I put a little lead in the rubber end. Also in the door knob, and then I topped it off with epoxy.

There’s a 4 inch long lag screw cast into the lead and it goes into the shaft.

 

Remember when a tune up cost ten bucks for plugs, points and condenser?
