What line was in all the "Prom Night" movies....
"It's not who you go with, but who takes you home."

I didn’t go because we were practically on bivouac ourselves. They sent us to some dinky little snowbound town on the border where you couldn’t get housing or fresh food or American television.

I think it was a big disappointment to my girlfriend and, well frankly she was a big disappointment to me in the end. She came from a good family, was the class valedictorian, and taught piano. Her dad was the shop teacher at our high school and he taught me to weld.

Then she went off to some Democrat convention in Minneapolis, and when she came back she was stoned & after that we never got along.

When they fit that tight, they are no longer slacks…

Slacks were invented so you’d have a place to carry your chain and your switch blade. (Revolver goes in the coat.)

Aaahhh, the disco era. Thank the Lord I never got into anything like that.

    Because, "Disco sucks."

I must say this is the first I ever saw anything this strange.

Then I led a very sheltered life.

Not at all ever in my case.

It was never an option the few times I made a mistake and got caught in the house.

The things I did under threat now would be considered abuse.

Yet I gladly spent many hours helping my mentors the ones I learned from.

The guy in the pic looked like he was ready for the Disco.... like Saturday Night Fever. I won't say I never went, but I spent little time in Disco's... :anonymous:

    Say what you want.

I was too young. My mom was into it. She exposed me to it. I absorbed it. I knew it. At a young age, and through adolescence, I realized that many people like to dance, and when the Fever era stuff was spun, everyone got out of their seats... I took notice.

Fast forward 20 years to the late 90's...

Knowing what disco was in the right environment was a godsend.... I was trained to be a slayer of Cougars...

I still remember being told, "I can't take you home because I have a kid your age."

My response? "You can take me into that bathroom right over there...."

Don't be a hater... Disco paid dividends...
