Here’s another blast from the past.

I had a friend that worked in an anodizing shop and he made this belt buckle for me. It’s pretty scratched up because I was wearing it when I came off a motorcycle in the dirt

Being raised in New York city, I remember spending summer days playing games like stick ball, ring-a-leavio (sp.), stoop ball, hand ball, flipping baseball cards, Chinese hand ball, skully, Johnny ride a pony, tossing coins against the wall, and running through peoples backyards playing a form of tag. Those bring back memories...:D

The other day I saw some kids out riding their bikes. You don't see that very often anymore.
I remember having wearing out tires and getting new ones before we out grown the bike.

I don't recall that. But I do recalling figuring out how wind was made. The trees did it by moving their arms.

Too much traffic to leave the can in the street, so we did as kids did, and improvised. We left a bat next to a tree. And if you wanted to free everyone, you had to whack the tree with the bat before getting caught.

Lived in NY for a year when I was 5, though I was in White Plains..

Oh I wore the tires off my bikes so much. My bike was my recreation, transportation to work/paper routes, my sport and so much more.

I had a bike at 4 with the solid rubber tires, so when the tire wore you needed a new wheel. I kept the old wheels and took them apart to learn about them. Rebuilt a coaster brake hub by myself at age 4

I think that came along about 10 years later.
