Same here, on the west coast. Imus was killer. I liked the foul-mouthed preacher character and the Japanese dude that would say Ah So....big Ah So. Way too unpolitic ally correct for these uptight times.

That looks like the guy that bought it for his kids didn't read the directions. It's supposed to be a high banked oval. Christmas morning dad says "I got this"

How did I miss out on Oregon Trail?

I played Raven Project, which was fun, but I could never get to the end, or find anyone else who did.

The Hive I never finished. Couldn't figure out how to hack those games either.

I did hack some strip poker game. The girl starts out naked and as you lose, she puts clothes back on.
I got lots of hacks from others,

There are 200 games that I finished (by hook or by crook.) ;) All released before 2002, when I quit buying.

Most bullets and monsters per mile: Serious Sam series.

Best views: Myst, Riven, and their kin.

    Most frightening: Descent

Best medieval sim: Too difficult. I own about 10.

Most spooky: The 11th hour and the 7th Guest (really part 1 of 11th hour.)

Spooky art prize: Darkseed Same guy did the Alien movie art.

Worst disappointment ever: Battlecruiser 3000 AD Like Zork but 1000% more boring.

Best side scroller: The Oddworld games

Strangest concept: Inca . . . ancient Indians fly Spanish sailing ships thru space?

Best ending ever: Duke Nukem rips the head off a giant dead monster, sits down on its neck with his newspaper, and takes a dump.

Howard did afternoons at WNBC. When he got fired / left, he first did afternoons at K-Rock (WXRK 92.3 FM); and this was in the mid-to-late 80's. My cousin in Allentown was pissed he could no longer get Stern on the radio, since he was now on FM. Stern eventually moved to mornings on K-Rock, where he stayed until be went to S/XM.

Imus was there for a long time (except for when he was in Ohio or something for a few years). Imus actually went to WFAN and did mornings when NBC sold off their radio properties (and the clear-channel 660 AM signal), until he got fired for the Nappy-headed-ho comment...
