I hit a big tarantula, with my rear tire, riding down a twisty mountain road, on a chopped out Kawasaki 900.

Just about wiped me out. The whole bike stepped sideways when it hit that slimy spider.

Otherwise I’ve never hit anything bigger than a squirrel with my car.

I always get a kick when skinny models try to look badass.

Now Tugboat Annie was badass. Ma Kettle was badass. Granny Clampett was bad ass.

Fashion model badass looks hollywood silly.

That’s Burt Rynolds, back row 2nd from the right. Not many people know that his son, Peter “Criss” Reynolds (he dropped his last name) was the drummer for Kiss.

    True story.

    Maybe not.

I will differ with you on this. Back when I was young and strong, decades ago, and if my memory still serves me, I recall many white women that sure looked awfully good to me, moving around on the dance floor. That being said, no one would have ever said the same of me.

I was never any good at it but I had fun. I have a friend who dances very well but swears she's awful at it, she's not good at accepting compliments in general though.

Me..I may or may not have twerked at an Alice Cooper concert a few years back...

I agree with this, back when there was good dance music and the women dressed for the occasion there was lots of good dancers.

I remember going to the same bar/club every Friday night in the mid 1990s (I was in college back then). I was never one to buy expensive clothes but I'd usually break out a collared shirt, nice jeans and something other than my Vans skate shoes that night..as well as break out the slut juice (as my friend called cologne, haha). Definitely saw a lot of fine ladies in those days.

The music was mostly 80s-90s hip hop, pop, etc. I'm all over the place with my musical taste, while mostly a metalhead. I remember bugging the DJ every week to play Doug E Fresh "The Show" until it eventually got added to the regular rotation, that was my shit....

I remember when we didn't spend so much of our time reacting to the crazy people who have seemed to taken over Government positions and screwing up
the lives of average people just trying to make their way thru life.

Well, I don't know if I am fit to judge the quality of the dancer as a dancer. BUT I can say that I liked the way that they moved around in whatever they were wearing.

Who remembers watching Fred Astaire and the lovely Ginger Rogers, dancing in the rain?

He was a celebrated dancer, and a handsome devil for sure.

The big joke was that Ginger did everything that he did, but backwards and in high heels.

These modern dancing shows often look like the prelude to an orgy by comparison.

If not for road kill it would be a meat free diet for me.

Living in the country more then enough 5 deer running into the truck the last few years.

After the neighbor woman totaled the brand new F250 running off the road to miss a ground hog. Poor city woman will never hear the end of this.

    Similar story....
In 1986 when going out to dinner with a girl in a rural area east of New Orleans, we were zooming along Hwy 90 in my then still pretty new Mazda RX7.... low to the ground. The restaurant was "Barney's", that had really good fried seafood. The girl say something about "you know how small animals sometimes appear . . .". Not even 10 seconds later an armadillo that was crouched low crossing the road raises way up high on his legs right in front of us. Bad news for him, but at least my car wasn't damaged. We just had our 36th anniversary on June 25th... :)

I was joking. With such sensitivity, you sound like you're too young for the "Remember When" thread. I "Remember When" we could crack jokes and no one had to breathe into a paper bag to recover from the trauma of hearing something off color.

I agree. I grew up in Oakland California a long time ago. A very very diverse place. My friends were every ethnicity under the sun. We use to crack jokes about each other all the time and laugh like crazy. If we did that now a days we’d get locked up in prison. By the way I’m still friends with many of those guys.
