Guilty and the living room only used for important Company.

No one but strangers ever used the Front Door and since it was never used it was a royal pain to get unlocked and opened.

When we became adults (by we I mean my husband and his siblings while visiting his parents house) we’d flip it upside down and coax all of our kids/nieces/nephews to walk across it… then all of us parents would laugh at the kids. That sounds terrible but it was funny!!!! Most kids didn’t have much reaction. My SIL had the biggest sissys….. she didn’t live that down.

Had those growing up and one of my chores was to vacuum and every once in a while I would "accidentally" put one back upside down.
Funny it was usually mom that found it. (not happy) but funny.
