It’s not all negative, my mother does not have to sit in the back of the bus to go to work and be paid half of what the “ other people” get.

Fat Bob's lift kit, 30's on stock steelies, lunchbox locker in the rear, and a ton of other general mods and additions to help the utility of the truck for my particular uses.
When pogs were “cool” and kids got in trouble for having them at school.

When a old school Nokia phone would keep a charge for weeks at a time vs modern cell phones that you seem lucky to get through a day.

When gas was $.86/gal. And your car got dang near 40mpg plus

When entrance to Disneyland was $26

When car insurance was optional and not state required.

When riding in the back of a pickup truck was normal and not illegal.

    When people weren’t sue happy...

Yes, and I never did mind paying a little more for it. Since the price has stayed the same, or in most cases has gone up, and the quality has gone down.

Very sure New York City is much safer now then when I was a child.

Not sure about any other US Cities though.

Jean jackets are still cool! I wear a dark blue one most days. It looks good, and it hides oil stains really well.

I think that's actually still legal in Wisconsin. Of course, it's breathtakingly dangerous at anything above a crawl.
