Remember those 12in wood rulers that had that little metal strip in them, well they would sneek behind you and wack you on the back of your hand with that metal edge hard then tell you to switch hands.

:rofl: I do remember those… so you are old enough to be alive during the time where they still tried to make everyone right handed, huh?

I didn’t go to the Catholic School. But got caught sneaking a drink of the sacramental wine with a friend who did. He had a cool tattoo on his forearm…looked just like a section of a ruler…wait what do you mean that wasn’t a tattoo

Remember when your Jr High wood shop teacher drove a cherry 50’s Chevy Truck to work and it had a gun rack in the back window complete with a 12 gauge shotgun or 30/06 depending on whether it was duck or deer hunting season

Or when you and your buddies would show up to school with your folding pocket knives and play stretch during lunchtime…and you weren’t suspended

Good times and I still have all my fingers and toes and both of my eyes still work…we’ll sort of.

Nope, just tell your parents. That’s when dad would step in. One time he took off his belt for some corporal punishment only to have his pants fall down as he walked toward us. (My siblings were worse than me and I was no angel). That spared us that day. He turned and laughed. What else could he do. Once you break character lol.

My swimsuit was wrapped in my towel in the shape of a ball and put under the radiant heater.
Well, a F'ing giant spider (hobo spider, maybe?) planted itself on the top of MY towel ball thing.
I raised my hand and informed the Nun as I was a scared 5yo kids and crying a little.
She smacked my hand with the ruler and not sure what happened to spider.

Had a bunch of "half-priests" called the Cristian Brothers for my catholic high school years -they were worse than the nuns I had in grade school. I think they took their "horniness frustrations" on the male students

And when the nun hit you, you didn't go home and tell mommy and daddy because you'd get whacked again for whatever you were whacked for the first time.
