Must be after my time I have no idea.

I never watched much Television till I was camped out in motels .

I saw the first 15 minutes of many movies before I feel asleep.

Not too bad…just can’t hear speech very well in a noisy environment.

I remember when my dad would watch me walk off into the woods behind the DePere Sportsman’s Club with my Winchester 69 and box of 50 .22s. I’d come back around dinner time for a Tombstone pizza and a glass bottle of Mountain Dew. I’d play darts until the bartender would call, “Hey Joe! Your wife is on the phone!”

When I started my job, personal computers were on workstation desks (not your desk), and we had to share. Eventually in the mid 90's, everyone got a computer, and eventually an email account.

The company ditched the POTS for VoIP when we moved offices in 2006. We finally ditched them for Teams. I still have the same phone number. We still have FAX machines.

While some people at work have my cell phone number, I prefer the separation of church and state. If my employer wants to reach me at all hours, they can pay for my cell phone. I sure as hell don't need telemarketers calling my cell phone.... That's what the office phone is for.

Using paper is good. It puts you on pause, and gives to time to read, re-read, and assess what you've written. I've seen lots of people push that "send" button way too fast, with too many people on copy... Sometimes technology is not your friend.

Hell, I remember going to the mall, buying toy hand guns that shot those yellow pellets at Kay-Bee, and me and my buddies shooting each other all throughout Gimbels...

I got my first taste of Benny Hill when they were shown on Channel 9 in New York. The uncensored ones on HBO were much funnier. He was on in England for what... 30 years?

Yup. My part time job provides me a phone. My day job wanted us to install software on our phones to log into the network. I refused. Told them I do possess a phone but it's not mine. When asked why not i said "for the same reason I don't use the laptop you give me to do that job"

Probably been posted before but Star Trek Disc Shooters were all the rage growing up. 3 story split level provided quite the setting for epic battles

This is a view I remember so well from working as an ECM tech at Ellsworth AFB in SD. This was before I started working as an AMT )(airborne Maintenance tech) on the RC-135s at Kadena in 1970-71. Our RC's had the newer (reverse thrust) engines , but we still had the "water-burner" KC's around to refuel us and other aircraft. Our original RC-m's have undergone another engine change and are still flying today more than 50 years later. Heres is a interesting recent link about them: Why the ‘Sun Never Sets’ for Airmen Aboard the RC-135 (airandspaceforces.com) Our 6 RC-135M's were reconfiged into the W and V mods. Still amazes me that the same airframes I flew missions on 50+ years ago are still flying today all over the world - based out of Offut AFB.

So what was the advantage of water injection? Was this something only used at certain altitude density?

I’ve never flown anything without pistons. Nowadays I’m just a boat pilot.
