    By the time I was old enough to really appreciate this show in the early 70's....they were all reruns. But damn did I love it. B9 was a certified mechanical bad-ass. For Halloween one year my dad help me make a "B9" like costume out of 2 boxes painted silver with flexible dryer hoses for arms

    I remember the old story of Mickey Thompson building a carburator that would let a V8 get 50-100 mpg it was supposedly bought up by the oil companies and locked away. IDK if true or not

    2 greatest of all time. I remember Howard getting himself in trouble talking about the athletic talents of black people and not understanding the big deal at the time. Granted I was raised in a depression era Southern household by my grandparents
