    Remember when home economics was a trade in high school.
    Do they still teach art or industrial arts? Aka "shop". All the kids I know are taking more traditional college track classes. I think there needs to be a happy place for trades.
    Curious where secondary education is at this point in time.
    Kind of old and out of touch with these things.

    Public high schools in my area here have a bunch of trade schools now. It’s not like when I was in school. Only ROTC and shop

    :eek: I had a teacher in 8th grade that did that when the class was unruly. She slowly screeched her fingernails across the chalkboard to get our attention. It worked.
