That's what i thought also... probably why it ended. I was surprised it was allowed here in the first place. It was just women... no men lol. If i remember correctly (this was around 15 years ago) you had to access it through a member... something like "El Diablo".

I mean it IS a truck forum, so it doesn't surprise me. lol

They should have called it "Tacoma Road" or "TacomaDarkWeb" or something.

    Yeah.
It was the TW underground, if I recall. I didn't know about it until they removed it and I heard some chatter about it.

Remember Wacky Packages? Sticking these on everything was our own juvenile form of vandalism.

My aunt and uncle had an 87 Camry and that thing lasted FOR-EVER. Then my other uncle had a 4Runner from the 80s, I remember when it was brand new, he drove that thing so long, the passenger compartment rusted and then he flatbedded the rear portion and left the cab on. He still had it a few years ago. That thing was almost as old as I am.

    Original with factory replacement parts.
My dad was a union rubber worker from the end of Korea until he retired...(get it?...re-tired...haha)
Anywho, we needed a new lawn tractor. Mow and work the gardens....about 1 acre. He had a Bolens, but that Tecumsen engine always sounded like it was ready to toss a rod. Dad had heard about these japanese tractors, Kubota and found a dealer.
I can still remember the look on my dad's face when that 4wd tractor walked the front axle up the verticle wall until the 3pt hitch hit the ground...and did it at an idle. Dad couldn't get his wallet out fast enuf. I never thought dad would buy a foreign tractor. But that B7100 came home with snow plow, single garden plow, rototiller, and big mower deck. Mom sold that whole set up 25 years after dad died and it still ran like new. Best tractor I have ever played with.
In the winter of 76-77, dad plowed all the neighbors driveways without even asking if they wanted him to. Snow was 2'+ deep in 24 hours. It took days before some could dig out.
I remember snow piled up in yards 7ft. We had igloos till spring.

Our 1st was a 84 or 85, MT, I recall we rerouted the smog pump hose into the air filter. Lol, it gave it increased power and sounded cool. Made 2nd gear scratches/ chirps a breeze. We beat on that ole 20R and it took it without fail. The single wall bed, took quite a beating and showed on the outside. We then followed just what you did. Except my 1st tundra didn't last long before I went back to Chevy.
