So I'm stuck at home and going through photos of my Tacomas. Remembering the good times and the fun we had. Thought I'd share some pics and stories. Please add your trusty old gals if you like, share your stories. Thanks.

This was my first....2000 V6 Pre-Runner. She never let me down. 267K miles and was still going strong when I sold her. Purchased in California in 2001 sold in 2016. I drove that thing cross country 4 times and multiple trips from SoCal to Tacoma Washington. She was awesome and a towing beast!

This was my 2004 2.7L that got a frame replacement. It had less than 90K miles on it when I sold it. I took this picture from my fishing kayak on a trip here in Georgia. She was clean...

My first was a 1994 4x2 Hilux that looked just like this one. I only wanted three things when I bought it, which was a manual transmission, air conditioning, and a extended cab. The latter was so I could toss a gym back behind the front seats. After pulling out into the street following a deep snow, I discovered the 4th thing I now require for every pickup, a LSD...lol I went online that day and ordered a LSD, which I had installed about a week after the snow melted.

I added everything I could find from LC Engineering (cam, header, TB, Air Filter), but the old trusty 22RE just wasn't going to be turned into a powerful engine without boost...lol It was "peppier," just not fast.

It ran just like the day I drove it off the dealer's lot when it was killed by a semi. Heck, it still had the original Freon from the factory. I was very sad to see it go. It was the best "new car" I had ever owned, so I went straight down to my local Toyota dealer and bought another Toyota truck (Tacoma).

Mine was a 1999 Tacoma Prerunner, 3.4l v6 (non TRD), 2wd of course. I was 19 years old and traded in a POS mid 90s Dodge Dakota in on it that I mistakenly purchased a few months prior. But the Tacoma was great, and stood up to the abuse that me and my bonehead friends at the time put it through. Got bit by the offroad bug with that truck but it had it's limitations being an open diff 2wd.

Ended up trading it in on a Scion tC because I moved away for college in 2005. Fast forward 11 years and I still missed that truck like crazy, so I finally bought another in 2016. This time a 2004 4x4 TRD version with manual trans. Found it with only 24k miles on it too.
