    Hi Everyone,

I know I don't post much on here but I wanted to take a couple minutes just to remind you all to please drive safe and that you can NEVER be too prepared.

Last Saturday (4/1/2017) I was on the back trail head towards Crown King, witnessed a jeep go over the cliff (1000ft. drop) and land in front of me. There were two guys in the vehicle that we were JUST talking to about 15mins prior at the stream before the switchbacks. One guy was ejected and DOA. The other guy lived with minor injuries. It was a rough day needless to say.

    Please be careful out there!

Yeah, it was a VERY vague article, the owner of the jeep just bought it the day prior, they were taking it out for some fun. I accidentally had the guy who lived, cell phone. I was able track him down at the hospital and came to find out the families were given wrong info about what happened, said both men were ejected and that wasn't true, only the DOA guy was ejected. Any way, it was a horrible scene but in the end I am glad I was there because I was able to provide details to the families about what really happened, let them know Daniel didnt suffer, and provide a little more piece of mind, something nobody else could have done.

If anyone feels so inclined, please help the family, he leaves behind 5 kids and a pregnant wife.
