    Greetings!

I have a question about the keyless entry remote on my 2014 Tacoma. I would like to buy an "All-in-key" like the one pictured in the link.

    https://www.keylessentryremotefob.com/toyota-tacoma-oem-3-button-key-fob-w-h-chip-hyq12bdp/

My truck does not use a transponder key, just the unlock buttons. I can't not find an all-in-one key without the transponder. My question is, can I program this truck to unlock the doors like the regular remotes and just cut the key and use it like normal? My goal is just to reduce some of the bulk in my pocket.

    Thanks!

Before installing my remote start I had a Flip Key on my 2014. The remote can be programmed with out special tools and you will need to do a search on here for the procedures. One thing is my truck used a G-Chip and not a H-Chip. That required TechStream and a Usb dongle that I bought for 30 dollars on Amazon. I had the key cut at Ace and they did it for free.

    Thanks for the reply!

My Truck doesn't need a transponder key, (in fact, it didn't have a keyless entry until I added the receiving unit). Any key cut for it will start the truck.
