Remote ( key fog)not working???

Hello group it’s me again it’s been awhile I have a problem or concern hoping for some info.
Ok where do I start so my remote for my 2011 Toyota Tacoma the one that locks and unlocks the doors has stop working. So I know that there is a battery in it so I replaced the battery but still not working so maybe a bad batch so I bought a new pack of batteries and nothing?... so that’s where my question comes in 1. What can it be ? 2. Once I replace the battery is there something that I need to do like a code or something to reset the key fog / remote such as turn the key and hold down a button on the remote any information will help thanks. Or any websites where I can buy a new one if the circuits or burned in my current my current one?

 

Should work with the new battery, no programming needed. However, the remotes do wear out. Check ebay for a new one, they are easy to program...

 

Ok great thanks I knew I could count on you guys in the group. But JoefromPTC when I get the new one is the instructions on how to program it?

 

Yes, the instructions come with the remote... You can also just Google it.
