    These are true facts. I’m sure there is an overlanding hood slide kit with special D ring shackles…or something. It also comes with Daisy Duke shorts and a wise crackin sidekick.

    The way I got around that was I edited the settings so only my driver's door unlocked with the key fob's initial press. Granted, this was for true warming up in the winter before I had remote start. But, I believe you can lock the doors with your lock/unlock button while still inside, open the driver's door to get out, and manually lock after that.

    I think with the he viper you can have an app that can start the truck from like a mile away or something. May just have to restart it every 10-15 minutes. If you forget however your dog is gonna have a real bad day.

    Did not realize that Viper alarm still existed. I had a new Z28 in the 80’s that had a Viper alarm and the thieves were still able to steal the car. Glory days of t-top cars.
