I have installed the remote on my tacoma. But would rather hear the normal beep that you heard when locking and unlocking the doors. Does anybody know where I can hook up to inside the cab area to be able to do this ?

Is it possible ? 2014 Toyota Tacoma

I do not think it is possible. I looked into it when I installed my viper remote start. The problem is thr little chirping device toyota uses requires some special signal. Applying 12 Volts to it does nothing. So what I did I purchased a 12 volt piezo from radio shack and hooked it up. Not the exact same sound but similar.

Now I wish I could get it to work. I even thought of dissecting a toyota key fob and hacking that into the viper module. Problem with that is they don't work when the engine is running.
    Sorry man SOL

I wonder how many db piezo I would need. Want it to sound about the same. A little louder would be ok. But I don't want it to sound like a alarm.

It's possible. I just watched this video of a remote starter install on a 2011 Toyota Camry. It retained the factory unlock and lock beeps with the aftermarket remote and bypass. Skip to 8:56 to see.
