run through sll of your light possibility if you installed the viper check the parking light wire you tap into trace it back and see if you can find some kind of split from itself because it sounds like your only getting power to it when your viper is on meaning the viper is providing the power not the typical power source. if you cant try to tap into another 12v remote wire to see if they come on then. it seems like a simple yet frustrating fix

EDIT: just thought of this when most installers install they will either use a clamp style wire tap which no one recommends or splice the wire and wrap the new around the existing... with some of the stock wires being really thin (have silver bands) this makes them easier to split upon install or even just heavy movement so again test check your viper wires where they are run to..

i have this setup and have installed these multiple times in various vehicles so i kinda know what im saying but again as stated above it could be something you physically messed up when your install and radio work

Do you think it could be a blown tail light fuse?

you won't be disapointed. I did the CST leather at the start of the group buy. I'm happy with what I got but most people weren't. the katzkin seems like a superior quality. if it gets cold where you live I'd recommend installing heat seaters while you're in there. I love mine... use it most of the time except summer.

its not thicker skin. plenty of people on here have called me an asshole or worse for my responses. thick skin doesn't do anything but make you even more pissed off when you are suggesting something that's not only is the BASIS for checking electrical circuits, but is also what would've FOUND THE PROBLEM.

You blatantly called me out saying that there is no way it could be a fuse... and yet thats what it was....

show a little respect for people that have been on this site longer than you.

thanks for trying to help the OP, but try to change your attitude next time.

me too. 5 minutes and you know for sure if your fuses are good or not. also helps when installing new shit to know if the ground youre trying to use is good or not.

thanks for trying to help. OP already found the problem though.

props for trying to help anyway though
