Remote Start issues

I just bought the ‘21 TRD-Pro. I have the remote start service as a trial run. Everything works as it’s suppose to(doors lock/unlock, lights flash a bunch of times, the app tells me when a door or two have been open or unlocked for a while, same as my tailgate being down and sun roof being open). The o lay problem is the remote start doesn’t ‘start’. Whether through the app or key fob. The dealership tech says there is no issue or bulletin released yet. The Manu. Operator states that I have to DCM: Hand shake looked at, the tech says he’s been looking for updates every few days and has nothing yet. Anybody else seeing the same issue and if so, is it fixed? How’d you fix it?

 

Sounds like a warranty issue. If the dealer will not work on it, contact Toyota and start a claim.

 

Well, I’m about to move across the country. So I’ll have a whole new dealership to run this through.
