Remote Start Not Working

OEM Remote Start is part of the $80/year Remote Connect?!? Even from the Fob??? Mine stopped working at about the 1 year of ownership.

Try a search, there's a few threads on this as of late. Yeah, Toyota really pulled a D-move and disabled the fob remote start when you didn't renew.

 

Better off just getting an aftermarket one. N2 designs is $200 right now...no subscription needed. There’s an app module you can buy as well.

Yeah. I had one on my previous Tacoma (used a normal key). Upgraded to a 2021 recently and once my trial runs out I’ll be installing the N2 one on this Tacoma as well.
