    Hello,

Just bought a 2020 TRD Off Road Premium. Is there any way to stop the truck from shutting down once I open the door after it’s been started remotely? Very frustrating to start it, get it warmed up, then I open the door and it turns off.

The Push To Start Toyotas are very well known for this. Even the Toyotas that have Key Start, you still have to get in and turn the key. If you think about it long enough, it's really no big deal.

Naaa - Doors have to be locked or it will not remote start. Guess you could always tape down the door switch with duct-tape?

Use a self-tapping screw to increase longevity of a temp fix :D

I think there is still one other problem with the brake. You can't put your foot on the brake or the engine will stop. Soooo - No Brakes. :annoyed:

Only on PST ignitions. - Key Start Ignitions will not shut OFF when you open the door. And stepping on the brake is part of the Take-Over Procedure. I don't have a system installed on mine yet. But doing research.
