I just added the Drone Mobile to my Compustar autostart. I really like it. I can start from my phone or watch. Granted it seems like it takes 2 attempts to work many times. Other than that I like not having to carry another fob or click my lock 3 times.

+1 onFortin.. their support is very good. IF you have PTS.. you can use the Fortin evo by itself and use factory keyfob. But you will have the truck shutdown when any door is open.. and that's because of Toyota.

Take your chances if saving $20 is of more value to you...but that risk means potentially relying on the seller to take responsibility because the factory will treat him (your product) as a "used product" purchased from one customer and resold to the other. Him honoring your warranty is a nightmare for him...

First of all - I would never recommend anyone purchase electronics from a non-supported vendor. In those situations, you do leave yourself exposed to rip-offs and con artists However, If your willing to do part (or all) of the research yourself, It can be very rewarding to "skip" the middle man all together and make purchases directly from the manufacturer. I've been in the electrical business for more than 30 years. And have done business with vendors, manufacturers and suppliers of various types of electrical devices. Agree that manufacturers usually don't want the hassle of dealing with inexperienced patrons. And usually refer those individuals to 3rd party retailers. Also, 3rd party retailers don't like to be excluded from theirs sales. But, If your capable of making a smart purchase directly from a manufacturer or direct distributer, all warranties still apply. Support may be somewhat more difficult to obtain. But still available non the less. It may be a little more daunting dealing directly with a manufacture. But, in many cases, it isn't impossible. Just do your homework. And don't expect "a lot" of help from resources that are accustomed to dealing with professionals. But, If you are successful, you will have a better understanding of the product and how to deal with any issues that may arise. And, the rewards of self achievement can be even greater than the $20 that you save.

    Just my $0.02

100% agree. You just described me. I like to think of myself as a problem solver to pain points, or solution provider to applications. If it doesn't exist, I'll find a way to create it. It's fun and rewarding, but not for everyone. There are those who are time limited, intimidated, or both. You, just as myself have an engineering type of mind...but pretend you graduated with a dance major, and YouTube is the only confidence you have and even then you're still "iffy". Kind of hard to piece it all together rather than watch a finished product being installed. Homework wasn't always for everyone. There are those like you who did their homework, and the one next to you that just wanted to copy it, even if he paid a little to do so...catch my drift? Nonetheless, great discussion!

Thank you for putting out quality stuff at good prices. I installed your kits in my father's '19 tundra and my girlfriend's '16 corolla, both installs were super easy and they work great.

I just got the EvoOne 442 kit, $130 on sale from dealer, comes with the long range 2 way rf422 remotes (x2), the thar-one-toy-5 harness for $50 and a used fortin updater v4 on Ebay for $15....works flawless on my 2017 SR with key , had about $200 in the whole set up .

Ended up buying it all except the updater from an authorized dealer in Ohio pre flashed, ....seen a few on here wanted over $425 for the same, or similar set up. Dang !!

I've had a 12volt Solutions since they first offered it years ago. Not a single problem. Just received an email from the people that make the remote start software (Car Link) that runs on iPhone (and Android?).

The email said that they now have an app for the Apple Watch in the store. I don't own an Apple watch but suspect there are those here that do. I think the other remote start vendors (N2, etc.) use the same software. So a person or two might find that interesting.

I just installed the N2 remote start for my keyless 2018 Tacoma a weeks ago. Works fantastic, especially the other day in -30c temps. The harness and module are of top quality, and I installed it in 20 mins in the driveway in -10c weather. Plug and play. Bees knees. Neatly zip tieing everything to make sure nothing taps around behind the dash took more time than anything, but I’m OCD like that.

Still others had no choice where to buy; when I bought mine, only one vendor offered a solution.

The only ones we sell are not only made compatible, but actually are the best compatible with the EA or EO; and are 2-way (give you visual/LED and audible confirmations). 3500 ft. - but that's obviously all environment dependent.

    It would be the: N2-RF642W-A
