I will fully recommend the 12 Volt Solutions. Easy as heck to install. Very responsive if you have issues. For both the H Key and push start.

On my 02 DC Pre Runner I've got a Viper Smart Start with GPS . I can lock/unlock , Remote start plus other functions all from my Smart phone

As long as I've got a internet connection I can perform all the above functions from anywhere in the world

I have the Fortin EVO. Works great, 100% plug and play! No wires were cut or tapped. Bought on here from jmeitz for 210.00 shipped. Included directions. Took longer to drop the lower knee panel than the install itself.

No rocket science degree needed. Very happy with it.

12volt solutions here...amazing and pure plug in play. No splicing. 3 minute install, but 15 minutes to take off and put back on the trim lol.

After reading a little about these plug and play, I think I will get a shop to install a viper on mine so I don’t run into the issue of the car turning off when you open the door

Is it pretty easy to operate through smart phone? Believe it or not I'm still in the stone age using a flip phone. I'm old school but I might have to break and do the I phone next month. I would really like to be able to do all that through the cell phone but I don't like complicated shit. You can say I'm not that great with computers. I heard there was around a $20.00 a month fee for that app on the phone is that true?

This is not true. We ship between 100-120 units a month to Canada. DHL & USPS stop by our facility daily.

We have 62 Toyota Dealership accounts at the moment spread all through out the US and Canada.

If you have a push button start, it won't matter what kit or who installs it. This show down safety feature is built into all push button Toyota & Lexus vehicle. No way around it. If you think a shop can bypass this, you will be disappointed. If you have an H-key, then take over is available and the truck will not shut off when the door is opened. Just trying to safe you a headache with a local shop.

Can someone explain to me what the hype about bypassing this failsafe theft protection is all about. Maybe I am missing something...I’ve caught myself repeatedly locking the truck by nature 3 or more times, which with 12volt solution, 3 clicks of the lock starts the engine. I’ve only made that mistake twice in 5 months, but at peace knowing the truck won’t go anywhere, also knowing that they made me click it 3 times, ensuring all the doors are locked even if I started it on accident. The only way the door can open is if the fob is next to it, nobody can just walk by and yank the handle open.
I’ve tested this, that in itself is enough to make me very comfortable know nothing can happen and the only worst part is it running for 15 minutes before it turns off on its own. That’s a trade off I’m not willing to make.

Really? I could have sworn I’ve read that aftermarket Viper alarm will work with doors open but will cut off as soon as you step in the brakes, on push button. Either way, I have the H key :)
