Sorry silly but just got new to me 2021 tundra trd pro, loving it!!! After research for remote start on factory key says press lock once then twice then hold in on three. Very simply but the truck wont start after trying that many many times? Something weird I'm either not doing right or need to set something before this works? Sorry again new truck to me just upgraded from 2014 tacoma which was my baby and excited to start building this new truck.

Thanks, will have more dumb post to come apologize in advance haha.

The remote start is a payed subscription. You may have to call your dealership to activate your remote start and pay $8 every month. Or buy the N2remotestart and install that yourself.

It's not a paid prescription. At least it's not consistent.

It's been discussed a lot on the tundras forums but I have a 2020 tundra and haven't paid the subscription. I can still use my remote start any time I want.

OP, the sequence is really touchy with timing. Then couple it with the engine shutting off as soon as you touch the door handle, it's almost useless.
