Removable doors

I have tubed doors

They weren't to hard to fab up and can have them changed out in 25 min

 

You could make a quick disconnect for your speakers in the doors.

I would love a nice aluminum set of Front/Rear Doors. I would attach a net or fill plates on the lower section. I've already thrown rocks inside my cab even with my windows slightly down.

 

Pretty sure Wyatt (The Beast) has had tube doors in the past?

No thanks, I prefer my cab to be sealed for weathering/theft issues. If it was my beater only, that's a different story.

 

I'm working on a rear set, and I thought about adding expanded metal to the doors but I didn't like the look

 

That's why I thought about using nylon mesh with quick disconnects instead of fill plates. Too each his own though, I have not seen it in person yet so I'm just open minded

I know Jeeps have door kits for them similar, just gotta find the material and make it.

I didnt like the styling with the doublecab so I got rid of them. Someday I will make a set of 4 that will look nice with the styling of the doublecab

 

everything gets stolen out of your truck.... HELL NO!!!

 

I don't understand how people think everything will get stolen. They're for wheeling. It's not permanent. You can put the stock doors back on haha

 

Simple minded I guess. U can literally take your stock door off and put these on in 15 mins. That's a total of 30 mins to change and rechange doors for offroading to street use. So simple

 

Too much of a hassle, my old CJ5's doors just lifted out and were off, I could do it in 5 seconds. Idk about newer Jeeps, but old ones like that were so simple and universal. Who knows what can of worms I'd be opening removing the ones on my truck. They are probably somehow connected to the computer so it will likely go crazy if they are removed.

 

driving to a trail and you are at a gas station and your $500 ham radio gets taken out while you walk in to the store and buy a water.... only happened once to me. Also got my sleeping bag stolen in the Rubicon while i was helping some one out.

 

Just to clarify. this is False. They unplug behind the kick panels, and DO NOT make the computer go crazy.
