Removal of air dam dropped my mileage to 16mpg?

    I pulled the silly air dam off on day one and now get 20-23 mpg on everyday driving. Don't believe 16 mpg is because of air dam removal no way!

    Yeah that's was my thought this morning, only other thing I did this weekend was change the oil. It should be running cleaner than last week!

    You'd rip that air dam off the truck before a front skid plate would come into play.

    My experience has been very little change BUT, the ride is louder. I hear much more wind turbulence around the windows etc. Anyway, that is my biggest complaint.
