Just driving. The other day it was 24.4 when I took the pic. Always the same routine always the same section of highway and always in the same direction. Have ptsd group meetings on tue and thur. Always fill up by meeting place before getting on the highway. 60 mph limit I do 64/65. Road is flat with a few rolling hills.

Bought my 22 on October 11. My transmission never hunted for gears and to be honest shifts like a th350 or 400, albeit not as quickly but usually around the same rpm’s each time.

I have noticed that once I’m up to speed if I just slightly ease off the gas the transmission is quicker to downshift when it senses a hill and keeps the truck in power sooner.

Only mods are engine and trans skid. Gas tank skid I’m waiting444A2139-3824-4886-859C-AB3C1BDADF97.jpgfor delivery. Stayed with stock 245/75/16 as I’m going to be driving from VA to WY about 4 times this year to finalize property purchase. I did change the tires to E rated Yokohama Geolandar G015’s. Need the extra rubber for the brush and unpaved roads in WY by stayed stock for the highway. 1984 miles one way.

    Work in progress...
I hated it, but I went to the bro grille after installing the winch. I have the camera but no sensors now. It's a 2017 so not sure if the 17 model came with forward sensors.

Not new, just a little more respectful…..
tCW is a big place, don’t really have time to search for the “other 20 threads before mine”, OR maybe get a few more opinions past the first 2 posts…….

want to degenerate into BS……start your own thread……name it……for BS only….

    None
Cons...You will get better gas mileage with it on, and less wind noise driving over 45 mph. Pros....looks cooler, and easier to remove engine plate for oil changes.

I drive a pretty routine route and my tank MPG is always about 18.x. I just took mine off. It does look better. I’m going to see how my mileage responds. And no we don’t have winter blend gas around here so that’s not an issue.

    I installed one on my 22 Offroad..average 20.9 mpg,19.1 without it!
If you city drive it doesnt matter...I drive 60 miles a day on a long stretch of flat highway 5 days a week to work and back...it works for me.
