I have a 2020 TRD OR and I hate that chime when starting the car. You know the 1, that requires to plug the seat belt before turning on the ignition or it will beep 5 times. I would like to remove the chime completely and I saw that it's behind the instrument panel. But the guide shows the instrument panel without the LCD in the center. Is it still the same location?

You can disable the seatbelt chime with Carista or techstream

I believe @tonered pulled his out

I think that only disables the chime when driving. Mine loudly chimes 5 times when the truck is started. Its obnoxious

    Yessir!

Cutting out the speaker kills all interior noises. The main horn, alarm horn, and separate exterior beep speaker will still remain. I've heard that last one beep when folks were touching their touch unlock door handles.

So then the only option is to open the seat belt clip and remove that sensor. I know if I plug in the seat belt before starting the car then the beep doesnt start. Also its annoying at the boat ramp that it beeps until I plug in my seat belt. Thanks!

Like @Shellshock says, you can disable the seatbelt warning chime with Techstream or Carista. I did it on my '19 with Carista.

No. If you just want to kill the seat belt chime, the Carista app or TechStream will do that.

But, the speaker castration kills all.

I'm not sure what's going on at the boat ramp, but disabled through Carista, he will still get the 5 beeps that are bothering him @ startup.

That is strange. While moving, right? Not stopped with the door open?

Just five seatbelt related beeps upon startup, door closed not moving.
    (buckled = no beeps)

Weird. It has been a little while now, so I can't exactly remember what happened with the seat belt chimes. I seem to believe that I had no chimes? I don't know if an H-key AccessCab matters? I know that I couldn't kill the key in chime by hitting the door button. I think that is a DC only thing?

It was the set of beeps going into 4Lo that finally pushed me over the edge to kill the speaker. I'd sometimes get a few of them even when it went in properly.

It is silly to say, but for whatever reason, I have this insane desire to make the interior chill. I think it was too many years only riding bikes. The solitude of the helmet?

I live up in the twisties, and either I'm a terrible driver or lane departure was never intended for the Tail of the Dragon. Literally had to pull over on the way home from the dealer to get it figured out.

    So. Many. Beeps.

I'll go with the latter. I can imagine that it would be hell on narrow twisties.

I'm sure you know living there, but the Taco is a lot of fun on the good roads.
