I just got a 2013 Tacoma Access Cab; I got this model for the extra inside storage, don't ever plan to use the jump seats and suspect they are useless. I am thinking about removing the jump seats to maximize the storage space. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions or advice.
Thanking y'all in advance for any assistance.

Just put plywood in and leave them in place you'll gain very little by taking them out. The center rear console has to go. It's big enough for a Great Dane and all kinds of junk and it gives you some nice hiding space underneath. I just covered the plywood with some gray carpet and built some boxes for the edges. When I feel like torturing some one I just put the plywood in the bed and fold the seats back down.

Someone had taken out their seats and showed how. Look for the thread.

I took mine out and the head rests also, it was easy. If I remember some of the bolts were behind the tie down spots for a child seat. be gentle when popping the the plastic seat back panel. Lots more room now.

It's stupid easy. The bolts are obvious.

I also removed rear head rests, both rear jump seats and rear center console. I like the few extra inches of room for gear and added visibility w/o headrests (even when folded down). Covered the gap between the cargo lids w 1/8th black sheet of plastic, used automotive black carpet to fill the exposed spots in the factory carpet that was left open after removal.

Remove the lap belts and put the through bolts back in or they will flop around if u don't secure them.
