After struggling with rubbing alcohol and goo gone for 30 mins to no avail I found something that works great that I had lying around: AF200D91-EFC9-4485-AD92-3F46DC80DCA1.jpg

Just a few sprays and let it sit a couple mins.. took most of the elbow grease factor out of the equation

While they are great to use, I don't trust Toyotas paint enough to use one on my truck, and I went to trade school for auto body and spent a few years doing it in a shop.

Just too easy to burn through the paint when you can just use a plastic razor blade and some goo gone and get the same result.

Peeled mine off and used Googone to clean the left over sticker residue.

You can easily buy more if you really dislike it after a while. Or buy different, but more to your taste.

Your opinion is the only one that really matters here.

Peel them off when warm, mineral spirits to clean residue. Easy peasy. No matter the residue cleaner you use, you'll strip any wax in the area, so be ready to redo the panel

I don't care for any TRD badging, because there's nothing there that was actually developed in the racing program.

I too removed them in the sun.
With the reside left over I used Goo gone and a plastic razor blade to clean the surface.
From there a little light hand polish (I used Griots Compete polish) some wax and good to go!

Wow ! That looks exactly like my truck. Except mine is an Access cab, and 2WD, and has a tonneau instead of a cap, and still has the SR5 badging, and still has stock tires and wheels. Other than that they look exactly alike. o_O

There may be a couple other things different too.

I don't care what others have, but I think Silver Sky Metallic is the nicest color. Certainly easy to keep looking good.

I too put on some custom vinyls from @CBoy808 and recommend that if you want your own look OP. Either way, my decals came off with gentle pulling and a blow dryer. It was in the 50’s the day I did the work so the blow dryer was necessary, probably not needed on a hot summer day. And then cleaned up with Goo Gone.

There is a TW post somewhere with a link to a YouTube vid about pulling in the opposite direction from what you’re removing. Something about it being easier on the paint. My paint was fine, but worth Googling.

Idk. I didn’t use anything for thing to take my badges and decals off. Just ripped them off over three years ago and hand washed my truck with car soap. No residue or anything left over.
Might be different if you’ve had them on for years.

I was bored with the oem decals and wanted something unique. Happened upon a thread regarding custom decals and had ones made. Very happy with the design and the vinyl seems set and durable so far. 2D0E3D74-53E7-40C2-AB34-6F72A19B8562.jpg79FABBB2-43DD-43E3-981E-38D3B1E6E16A.jpg A2D247FC-61C6-4CC0-9744-2E8704B216F7.jpg8301A941-5129-4B56-B844-05D5C33795C1.jpg 04457825-0F6E-4457-8C93-F38D8BA2B3A5.jpgBFF686F9-9C2D-4155-84D2-CC05739BC58F.jpg

I removed mine from my 2017 TRD Off Road. I posted a video on YouTube when I did it. I just used a regular hair dryer. I was 50/50 on the stickers. After 2 years still was not sure which look I liked better. In some ways the red in the sticker against the white truck was a nice look but without the sticker the truck had a clean look.
