I’m told by a body shop that these are removable stickers. Has anyone removed these and can confirm the paint is seamless beneath?

Also is it easy to remove the TRD sticker on the rear of the bed cleanly? Would this hurt perceived value of the truck?

I have removed the black door stickers on a previous truck and the paint was fine.

The rear decal is not coming off easily on my truck. I need to get some Goo Gone today.

To me this decal looks like an after thought. So out of place and small and not a good design. I don’t mind the black vinyl on the doors. Especially with the front windows tinted to match the back factory tint.

Some here have apparently removed the TRD sticker without too much trouble. My experience was painful…hairdryer made no difference and it took me about an hour of picking at the stickers with a fingernail.

Heat gun will make short work of all of it. Hair dryer is not nearly powerful enough.

90F outside and direct sun for an hour didn’t do it either.

What setting should a heat gun be on?

Thanks for the feedback guys, heat gun seems the obvious choice here.

I will work on this today and report back. Will pull the TRD stickers for sure, still not decided on the door vinyls.

Heat gun will take it right off and won't damage the paint. Might need some Goo Gone to get rid of residue, but the sticker will come right off.

The TRD badge on the rear door would look much better IMO. I think the SR5 badge on the rear door looks good. Or nothing at all would work.

Top portion comes off fine, bottom portion is nightmare fuel. Worried about heating the paint too much. Industrial heat gun, low setting, 2-3 inches away.

Yep - that separation was my experience. Patience needed, it’ll come off.

Mine just has low/high,and low is sufficient for most tasks. Just keep the gun moving and don't touch it to the surface you're heating up.

Had my truck ceramic coated and before the detailer did it I had him remove those stickers and he said if any one asked him to do it again he would tell them he couldn't.

This is the most tedious thing I’ve ever done. Super hard to get off even with the heat gun. It’s going to take all day for just one side.

A good test on the heat gun is if your fingers can handle the heat. If it hurts you might be too close and need to back off or turn down to protect the paint. It took a few passes with the Goo Gone to finally get it all off on my truck.

This is good. Once you have the top layer off, use a "whizzy wheel" on fairly low speed and the thin all white layer will come right off. I did mine and worked great

Nice. I did one side with the top layer sticker still on, it was tough and left my paint hazy but buffed off with rag and quick detailer. Other side I peeled off top layer, key was to use the wheel on slow speed with the drill. Came off very easily and paint looked great
