Cleaning is better...most those non factory carpet replacements suck from what I've heard.

On fitment, I will agree the factory is better. But I know from first hand experience, the aftermarket is great quality, and fitment is almost perfect. Besides a few minor fitment issues, the aftermarket carpet was almost perfect, besides you have to cut it down.

Yea. But if you think the OE was 'thin', wait till you see what $150 gets you.

Well I hope carpet does not stink tomorrow. Few wet spots in the padding under the carpet. If Padding stinks I will pull the padding from under. But over all it cleaned out ok

Here is some sound and vibration killmat install with noico over it and washed oem carpet over that

I bet the original owner was trying the wrong way to practice safe driving

Or they never got used because once the ladies realize you drive a first gen, they’re down to have babies. Just because we (1st gen owners) don’t spend money on repairs, (because 1st gen), that doesn’t mean we’re about to spoil some biddy. We have VERY IMPORTANT accessories and stickers to buy

I’d put one over the muffler of the next Prius I saw parked.

I will get you some pictures of samples of the carpet. I can get you a picture of the carpet later, the interior is a mess after replacing 90% of the interior and installing sound deadening and the stereo system.

I used full coverage of same stuff as OP, the kill may butyl foil backed with Noico red foam, and covered with mass back carpet.

Did you have them send you any sample before you ordered?

either way, mass back or not, it is a quality product. With the mass back, the carpet is about 3 times the weight as factory carpet.

Its a 20 year old truck with 240k miles. Driving without carpet for a few days did not make me feel it was all that loud. But did make me understand that carpet also keeps the dust down below it. I think basic carpet will suffice for now. If it does sound really bad. I didnt have them send me a sample since im gone with basic black.

Expiry date on the black one says 2011-07, so the other ones might be quite past their expiry date as well:rofl:
